Tunnel Visit - Saturday 2nd September

We will be visiting the Tyler Hill tunnel in Canterbury this year on Saturday 2nd September.

Meeting at 10am, the visit will take approximately two hours.

We hope to give a quick overview of the tunnel’s history and also a talk about the bats who now live in the tunnel.  After which we will be going inside a remaining section of the tunnel.

Afterwards we will walk down to and go inside the Beverley Arch.

As there are a limited number of spaces we are offering this to members first, but do let us know if you would like to bring someone else and we will see if we can accommodate them.

We are asking for a donation of:

  • £10 for members that will be split between the Archbishops School who provide access and The Kent Bat group who ensure our visit is safe for the resident bats.
  • £15 for non members which includes the same donations and a year’s membership to the Trust.
